Centre of Excellence – Spiritual Life Coaching Diploma Course
Packed full of information about spiritual life coaching, the Spiritual Life Coaching course explains the theory, methods, and practices of the role and how the techniques covered are applied in the real world.
The course first introduces you to the subject, outlining what spiritual life coaching is, how it differs from regular life coaching and the difference between a spiritual life coach and a religious or spiritual leader. You’ll discover the common belief systems and philosophies that spiritual life coaches share, including the importance of having a purpose, meaning and mission and staying open to the spiritual world.
While this gives you a base understanding, the way you practice and your own philosophies will alter the way you encompass the role of a spiritual life coach, as well as the way you operate and brand your business. With this in mind, the course walks you through the working practices of 3 practising spiritual life coaches, highlighting the differences in ethos and the service provided.
Spirituality and thoughts, the mind, and emotions are interlinked in some complex ways. The Spiritual Life Coaching Course discusses this in detail, looking at how a spiritual life coach may work with these relationships and how the concepts of identity and self-knowledge can be used to help clients advance in their spirituality. You’ll also delve a little into the concepts of ‘manifesting’ and the ‘law of attraction’, and how they are said to work.
You’ll explore the methods spiritual life coaches use to get to know their clients better, with deep listening, empathy and reading techniques all covered. You’ll look at the use of various healing frameworks and techniques and how crystals, cards, other spiritual ‘equipment’ is used in the practice.
The Spiritual Life Coaching course goes deeper into how you should conduct yourself with clients, explaining best practices, ethics issues, regulation in the industry, and how to structure client sessions.
Cultural appropriation is explained, along with the differences to cultural appreciation and how it’s relevant to the work of spiritual life coaches, as well as how to create your own style as a life coach while honouring various traditions. You’ll be guided through various practical methods you can use to find new clients.
In addition to this, the course also provides you with 3 case studies, each explaining a different scenario and how the spiritual life coach helped the individual so that you can see some of the knowledge and best practices outlined in this course in action.
