Tom Bisio – Five Element (Wu Xing) Qi Gong
Description Of Five Element (Wu Xing) Qi Gong
Five Element Qi Gong is a complete system of gentle movement exercises for healing and preventing disease in the internal organs and their associated meridians and tissues. Five Element Gong can be performed in 20-25 minutes a day. Daily practice of Five Element Qi Gong activates the internal Qi Dynamic and harmonizes the internal organs and their associated meridians, while simultaneously calming the Heart-Spirit and relieving stress.
Each of the five basic exercises frees up restrictions surrounding a particular organ, opens the meridians associated with the organ and mobilizes and activates the spinal segments and nerves that innervate each organ. Additional exercises (Triple Heater Exercises) forge connections between the various organs while strengthening and integrating the body’s energetic systems.

Five Element Qi Gong harmonizes the Five Elements and Five Organs: Lung-Metal, Kidney-Water, Liver-Wood, Heart-Fire and Spleen-Heart. Additional exercises harmonize the Triple Heater (San Jiao), which in turn connects all the other organs and harmonizes the entire body.
In this online class we detail the correct method of performing Five Element Qi Gong, and clearly explain exactly how and why these exercises work.
