About Kenrick Cleveland

About Joseph Riggio
Dr. Joseph has doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Leadership and Strategy. His research is focused on decision-making in uncertain and chaotic environments, with an emphasis on cognitive development and communication performance strategies that increase effectiveness in those environments.
Joseph is the founder of ABTI | Joseph International, an international consultancy. He has worked with Fortune 1000 multinational companies in over thirty countries, as well as with local entrepreneurs developing go to market sales strategy, designing bespoke communication training for leaders and sales professionals, and executive coaching.
Today Dr. Riggio divides his time between speaking, executive coaching, delivering leadership training and consulting with private clients in developing their communication mastery. His unique expertise is linking interpersonal communication to strategy and leadership. Joseph’s clients depend on him to assist in developing effective interpersonal persuasion and inflluence strategies and skillfulness, including presentations to groups and large audiences.
In addition to his professional work with clients Joseph has also served on non-profit and corporate boards in the United States and Europe. He has also written multiple books, and many published articles, on peak performance and transformational change.
Currently his main areas of interest and research remains focused on adult cognitive development and social systems performance, in relationship to systemic transformational change in organizations and social systems.
Joseph is the father of two children, a son who’s currently doing post-doctorate research at the University of California, Davis, and a daughter doing her undergraduate studies at the American University of Paris. He lives in Sarasota, Florida in the United States with a Savannah Cat, “Sarabi,” where he’s been busy working on his golf game when he’s not working with clients or writing his next book … or, pursuing his hobby as an avocational chef and foodie.
