John Demartini – Dealing With Depression
Description Of Dealing With Depression
It is perfectly normal to feel down at times. We all experience periods of so called depression in varying degrees. Whenever we set unrealistic expectations on ourselves or others and our reality does not live up to these unrealistic beliefs, we experience disappointment and feelings of depression.
Whenever you have a fantasy about how you think your life should be, instead of being grateful for how it is, you split yourself in two. The fantasy appears to be more positive than negative and as a result you compare your reality to it. You then become sad and depressed whenever you perceive that your life doesn’t match the unrealistic ideal in your mind.
However, depression does not have to be perceived as a terrible affliction. It could be perceived as a feedback mechanism to our conscious mind to guide or initiate us to go back and set more realistic goals and expectations or clarify realistic strategies to achieve our desires.
In the course Dr. Demartini explains the concept and application of The Demartini Method and how to dissolve depression.
