Candy Miles-Crocker – Effective Communication
What You Say Can Make or Break Your Business
Your words can help or your words can hurt.
Have you ever received an email where you felt angry after reading it? It’s not so much that you received bad news, but the way in which it was delivered.
Or how about this…
Have you ever written an email and asked someone else to read it over before you sent it because you didn’t want to come across as angry?
So many times, it’s not what you say, but how you say it.
Real estate agents need to be experts in communication based on the sheer number of people we have to interact with throughout the transaction. We really can’t afford to make enemies based on how we communicate.
All you have is your reputation, so it’s important to protect it.
Choose your words carefully
I designed this course to help you choose your words carefully. I will give you specific phrases you can say when speaking with the lender, the title company and other parties involved in the transaction. I’ll go over communicating in person versus over the phone. Voice mails, emails and texts. Yes, I will give you the exact words to use, to get the information you need.
